Make-up Work for Term 3

Given the unusual circumstances, now is a good time for you to make up any missing work from term 3. Worksheets can be made up for points at a discounted 10 percent from the final score.

If you make up work, please send me the google doc. Check your class webpage for worksheets. You can make a digital copy and type in your answers and send it to me. If the item you need is not posted, please let me know, and I'll get it posted or give you other guidance as needed. Cheers! :)

Office Hours and Other Information

Hello parents and students!
While we are still not giving graded work or extra credit (due to state rules), I will continue
to offer enrichment through the blog page (barbaradesai.blogspot.com).
Be sure to click the link on the right for your class. I’ll be offering individual activities
for each class, posted on their pages.

My office hours are 10-11 and 1-2 M-F. While I check my email throughout the day, during
office hours I’m available to answer questions in real time through chat (google hangout or
meet), go over a paper or other assignment in real time, commenting live, etc. Once we
move to graded work, it’s during those times that we’ll do video chats and other
whole-class activities.

If you’re looking for something to do, try this fun activity. When you open the link, you’ll find a series of columns. Chose one item from each column to generate a basic plot. Then, adding details, dialogue, and action, write a story based on this plot. Genre Fiction Generator
